My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was excellent for visitors to the area, and the staff service was top-notch. However, the room condition was disappointing, and the dining options could have been better.

When I finally got to my room, I was taken aback by its bad condition. Even for business customers like me who booked supreme suites, it wasn't up to par. The room had a strange smell, almost like faeces. The walk-in shower was a nice touch.

The hotel, while run down and needing some tender loving care, was located far out from the city center. It cost me £17 for a taxi ride to New Street train station. It wasn't the most convenient, especially for two ladies preparing for a festival, but the powerful shower was a plus.
